6/05/06 This week was a complete bust. I had the week off, but low and behold, my left knee had made other plans. We managed to get the concrete cut, whilst I languished on the couch with an icebag and a fine ibuprofen.

6/12/06 Week two saw a better knee (Thanks Anthony!) oh, and the pharmaceutical company that made whatever I was taking.  We managed to crank out the cooler walls, and then the kitchen. We have one wall left to build, which will feature a significant amount of glass to show off the brewhouse. Next week the electrical goes in (Shameless plug) with Bartlett Electric. Thanks for your help Matthew! We'll be much closer when you're done. Oh yeah, while I'm plugging my "peeps" thanks Murray for the adjustment...but I'll probably see you Monday!

   

We hired a new shop supervisor. He's young, but lacks the experience that causes problems with management! When not riding his trike around inside, he can be found making sure the measuring is precise. We also had the brewery mascot out for a look around. He approves, but wants to know when the smoker will be up and running.

6/20/06  Electrical is going in, and if you want quality electrical work, call Bartlett Electric. These guys know their stuff, and do great work! (360) 413-1246. Tell them I sent you! (Sadly, no commission for me for the referral!)  Dad & I got the last wall started, and should have it finished tomorrow. Bottom right is the picture window wall.

We're not going to discuss what beverage he has in his hand.....Here's the bar view back to the kitchen.

OK, here's Devon, apparently thinking he's got his own submarine. If I can figure out how to clothe him in scotchbrite, he can clean the tanks!

         

6/30/06 Drywall is (mostly) up! Thanks a bunch to A-Champion Drywall (Doug & Crew) Nice work on the drywall! Apparently I have a better chance of finding D.B. Cooper than I do a PLUMBER! Everything is moving along nicely, and seems to be coming together (Did I mention the plumber?) We're getting closer....More to come later!  Thanks John, for all your help....I don't recall a tool rental fee in the lease agreement....Keep the faith, soon we won't have to fill the little fridge anymore!
